Privacy Policy

Keepurr is a cat care app for iPhone. It helps you and the people you live with track daily care routines and health for your cats. This policy explains what data the app handles, where it lives, and the choices you have. We keep it short because Keepurr collects as little as possible.

Who we are

Where your data lives

Keepurr stores your data in your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We do not run our own servers and we do not have a copy of your cats, care logs, or health records. Your data syncs between your devices, and to the people you share a household with, through Apple's iCloud infrastructure, which is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What data Keepurr handles

• Your account. You sign in with Sign in with Apple. Keepurr receives a stable identifier from Apple, and your name and email only if you choose to share them. We do not receive or store your Apple ID password.
• Your cats and their care. Cat profiles, daily care routines (such as feeding, litter, and medication), health entries (such as weight and vet notes), and Pawsport stickers you earn. This is stored in your iCloud account, not on our servers.
• Household sharing. If you invite someone to your household, the cats and records in that household become visible to them through Apple's CloudKit sharing. You control who is invited and can remove them.
• Reminders. Care reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. They are not sent through us.

Analytics

Keepurr records a small amount of anonymous usage information to understand which features are used and to find bugs, for example how many care tasks are completed or which screens are opened. These events contain counts and types only. They never include your name, your cats' health details, or any other content you enter. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Tips

Keepurr is free with no paywall. You can leave an optional tip through Apple's in-app purchase. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card or payment details.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
• We do not share your cats' health information with anyone outside the household you choose.
• We do not run a custom backend or third-party database that holds your records.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account and data. You can delete your Keepurr account and all associated data from within the app, in Settings. This removes your records from iCloud.
• Leave a household. You can leave or remove people from a shared household at any time.
• Turn off reminders. You can disable notifications in the app or in iOS Settings.

Children

Keepurr is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note it in the app.
